There's no place like home for Waverly/South Shore, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Waubay/Summit Mustangs on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Coyotes have posted against the Mustangs since September 7, 2023.

Waverly/South Shore walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-19.

Jaina Johnson paced Waverly/South Shore's offense, picking up 13 kills. Johnson got some help from Marlie Riter and her 18 assists.

Waverly/South Shore pushed their record up to 8-19 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Waubay/Summit, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
