Volleyball Recap: Pillager Comes Up Short

Pillager was the 3-1 winner over Verndale when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 3-1 to the Pirates on Thursday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pillager's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Verndale, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pillager will venture away from home to square off against Staples-Motley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Verndale, they will head out to face off against New York Mills at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
