Oblong extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Cumberland. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Pirates. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Macy Krick paced Oblong's offense, picking up seven kills. Krick got some help from Brylee Murray and her 12 assists. Layla Krick controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Cumberland lost, don't look at Leah Gray. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and one assist.

Oblong's victory bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Cumberland, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-19-1.

Coming up, Oblong will take on Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cumberland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
