Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain View Mountain Lions vs. Mica Mountain Thunderbolts

The Mountain View Mountain Lions will challenge the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Mountain View was able to grind out a solid victory over Canyon del Oro, taking the game 3-1. The Mountain Lions haven't had any issues with the Dorados recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Mountain View was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-27, 25-12, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Mica Mountain waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lancers.

Mica Mountain took Salpointe Catholic into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 21-25, 15-12.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Mica Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
