While Mission Viejo's victory against Esperanza wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Diablos won by a run and slipped past the Aztecs 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Diablos in their matchups with the Aztecs: they've now won three in a row.

Mission Viejo now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Esperanza, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
