Palmetto hasn't had much luck against Parrish Community recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will challenge the Bulls at 6:30 p.m. Palmetto is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Palmetto earned a 4-1 win over Northeast. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.

MaKenna Lee spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 16 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Palmetto saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalen Capps, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Palmetto hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northeast struck out 16 times.
Meanwhile, Parrish Community came tearing into Tuesday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Sailors. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Parrish Community also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Emmaline Van Beck gave up four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kyndal France, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alysa Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Parrish Community pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Palmetto, their record now sits at 12-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Palmetto has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Parrish Community struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Palmetto beat Parrish Community 8-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bulls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
