Meanwhile, Newman International Academy came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-52 win over Uplift Ascend Prep on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since December 5, 2024.

International Leadership of Texas Keller better keep an eye on TJ Styles. He was instrumental in Newman International Academy's win, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Praise Brimmo, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points.

Newman International Academy's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for International Leadership of Texas Keller, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

International Leadership of Texas Keller was able to grind out a solid victory over Newman International Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 69-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for International Leadership of Texas Keller since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around.
