Volleyball Recap: Aurora East Comes Up Short

Aurora East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hoffman Estates Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tomcats of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

Aurora East's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Hoffman Estates, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Aurora East will head out on the road to take on Plainfield East at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hoffman Estates, they will welcome Glenbard North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
