Soccer Recap: Cabrillo Comes Up Short

The Cabrillo Jaguars didn't have quite enough to beat the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies on Friday and fell 4-3.

Cabrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Godinez Fundamental, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cabrillo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakewood at 5:26 p.m. on January 7, 2026. Godinez Fundamental will wrap up 2025 with a road trip to face off against Mater Dei at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
