Basketball Recap: Guilderland Comes Up Short

Guilderland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Averill Park Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flying Dutchmen of the 41-31 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Guilderland's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Averill Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Guilderland will be home for the holidays to greet Niskayuna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Niskayuna will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Guilderland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Averill Park, they will head out on the road to challenge Ballston Spa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
