Basketball Recap: Sheyenne Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fargo South on Friday, Sheyenne came back down to earth. The Sheyenne Mustangs were outmatched by the Mandan Braves and fell 77-35. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Sheyenne now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Mandan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheyenne will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Horace at 5:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Mandan also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Minot at 5:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
