Wheatmore barely beat East Davidson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the Golden Eagles 3-0 on Monday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While Wheatmore won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-22.

Wheatmore found their leader in freshman Arabella Grant, who had 14 digs and two assists. Grant is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Wheatmore's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for East Davidson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Wheatmore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against West Davidson on the 14th. East Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
