Baseball Recap: Bingham Takes a Loss

Bingham saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Centurions. The game marked the Miners' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bingham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Sorenson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Bingham's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cypress, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Bingham wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Damien on the 1st. As for Cypress, they have also already played their next game, a 14-0 win against La Habra on the 1st.
