Basketball Game Preview: Queen's Grant Stallions vs. Myers Park Mustangs + How To Watch

The Queen's Grant Stallions will venture away from home to square off against the Myers Park Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Queen's Grant is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Thursday, Queen's Grant humbled Carmel Christian with a 54-27 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Queen's Grant's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Misa Garris led the charge by going 6-for-9 en route to 12 points and eight steals. The dominant performance also gave Garris a new career-high in shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Za'Miya Bynum, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 11 points and five steals.

Queen's Grant smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Myers Park had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on Chambers with a sharp 46-21 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mustangs had established a 20-point advantage.

Queen's Grant's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Myers Park, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
