Volleyball Recap: Scholars Guild Academy Falls to Social Circle in First Game of Season

Scholars Guild Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Social Circle Redskins on Thursday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redskins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Scholars Guild Academy was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-23.

The victory got Social Circle back to even at 2-2.

Scholars Guild Academy has already played their next match (against Commerce), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Social Circle, they will host Flowery Branch at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
