Volleyball Recap: De Pere Redbirds vs. Newman Fighting Cardinals

De Pere had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Newman Fighting Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redbirds also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.
Adeline Dwyer paced De Pere's offense, picking up seven kills. Dwyer got some help from Kayli Raygo and her eight assists. Mallory Derenne controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
De Pere's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Newman, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Coincidentally, De Pere and Newman will both be playing Stevens Point the next time they take the court. The Fighting Cardinals will head out to face the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Redbirds will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
