Baseball Recap: Novato Triumphs

Novato won against Windsor on Wednesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Hornets had just enough and edged out the Casa Grande Gauchos 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Julian Oliver was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Cleary, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Novato's record now sits at 2-0. As for Casa Grande, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Novato is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Vintage at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Casa Grande, they will welcome Analy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
