Palm Beach Central had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Leonard on Thursday. Everything went the Palm Beach Central Broncos' way against the Leonard Lancers as the Palm Beach Central Broncos made off with an 18-0 victory. That 18 run margin sets a new team best for the Broncos this season.

Palm Beach Central got a massive performance out of Andres Lopes, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave Lopes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Sousa, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

Palm Beach Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leonard only posted an OBP of .273.

Palm Beach Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. Leonard is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
