While Juab's win against Emery wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Juab had just enough and edged out Emery 6-5 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-5 last Tuesday.

Connor Cowan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Kai Hansen and Austin Park did most of the damage at the plate: Hansen went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI, while Park went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was Hansen's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Luke Marostica, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
