Football Recap: Timpson Comes Up Short

Timpson lost against Westwood back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 56-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bears have suffered since September 13, 2024.

Timpson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Westwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Timpson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wolfe City at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Westwood, they will head out to square off against Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles' defense has only allowed 2.8 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
