Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart-Griffin's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Sacred Heart-Griffin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They secured a 77-73 W over the Mt. Zion Braves. The win was some much needed relief for the Cyclones as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Sacred Heart-Griffin now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Mt. Zion, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Jacksonville the next time they take the court. Sacred Heart-Griffin will host Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mt. Zion will host them at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
