Volleyball Recap: Wabash Starts off Right with Win over North Miami

Wabash had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the North Miami Warriors. This was payback for the Apaches, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 24-26, 25-23.

Bryleigh Boggs paced Wabash's offense, picking up 22 kills. Boggs got some help from Zoe Vail and her 15 assists. Vail was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

This is the second loss in a row for North Miami and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Wabash has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Madison-Grant on the 20th. As for North Miami, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Kokomo on the 21st.
