Volleyball Recap: Cocoa Beach Takes a Loss

Cocoa Beach lost against The Villages Charter back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Minutemen took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffalo. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-6.

Elizabeth Butera paced Cocoa Beach's offense, picking up two kills. Butera got some help from Tayber Diffenthal and her eight assists.

Cocoa Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for The Villages Charter, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Cocoa Beach wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Cloud on the 5th. As for The Villages Charter, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Lake on the 5th.
