Volleyball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Clover Blue Eagles

The Boiling Springs Bulldogs will face off against the Clover Blue Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Boiling Springs beat James F. Byrnes 3-1.

Boiling Springs was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 15-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Clover rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Blazers. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 21-25, 25-15.

Boiling Springs' win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Clover, their victory bumped their record up to 12-19.

Boiling Springs was able to grind out a solid win over Clover in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Blue Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
