Soccer Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

If Manchester was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Highland Springs on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lancers lost 5-1 to the James River Midlothian Rapids on Thursday. Manchester haven't had much luck with James River Midlothian recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for James River Midlothian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.
