Vidor waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They slipped by the Evadale Rebels 61-60. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-54 back in November.

Talon Bennett and Warren Brewer certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Bennett went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points, while Brewer went 9 for 16 on his way to 24 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 40% of Evadale's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Brett Buckner was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Vidor is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Evadale, they moved to 13-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
