Basketball Recap: Bertrand Takes a Loss

Bertrand lost against Kenesaw back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bertrand Vikings took a hard 45-29 fall against the Kenesaw Blue Devils. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Bertrand lost, don't look at Brooklyn Evans. Despite the final result, she posted 17 points and four steals.

Kenesaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophia Schukei, who put up ten points along with five boards and three steals. Those three steals gave Schukei a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jorja Uden, who went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.

Bertrand's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Kenesaw, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10.

As of now, neither Bertrand nor Kenesaw have any future games scheduled.
