Softball Recap: Friday's Win Is Sitka's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Juneau-Douglas, Sitka was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Ketchikan Kings 13-4. Considering the Wolves have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sitka has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Ketchikan, they now have a losing record of 12-13-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sitka beat the Kings by a score of 25-13 on Saturday.
