Preview: Woodmont Wildcats vs. J.L. Mann Patriots
The Woodmont Wildcats's road trip will continue as they head out to face the J.L. Mann Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Woodmont is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than J.L. Mann in South Carolina (Woodmont is ranked 31st, while J.L. Mann is ranked 107th).
Last Tuesday, Woodmont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to Mauldin.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, J.L. Mann beat Hillcrest 57-52 on Tuesday.
Woodmont's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for J.L. Mann, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14.
Woodmont skirted past J.L. Mann 64-62 when the teams last played on January 10th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodmont since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
