Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corona). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles 53-0 at home. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 115th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 325th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Feli Solomua had an outrageously good game as she threw for 274 yards and seven touchdowns. Ava Liaga was Solomua's top target, picking up 142 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Corona's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged eight passes before it was all said and done.
