Spring Valley piles up the points against Richland Northeast

The Spring Valley Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-28 victory over Richland Northeast. The result was nothing new for Spring Valley, who have now won four contests by 33 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Zie'l Ratchford, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsey Chisholm, who scored 15 points along with three steals.

Richland Northeast's loss came despite strong showings from Sasha Cebula and Zimarika Moorer. Cebula scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Moorer scored 11 points.

Richland Northeast struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The victory got Spring Valley back to even at 5-5. As for Richland Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Spring Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Augusta at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. North Augusta presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Spring Valley in South Carolina (North Augusta is ranked 13th, while Spring Valley is ranked 91st). Richland Northeast will take on Brashier Middle College Charter in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at. Brashier Middle College Charter will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
