Basketball Game Preview: Marist RedHawks vs. Sidwell Friends Quakers

Having just played yesterday, the Marist RedHawks will jump right back in to play the Sidwell Friends Quakers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Marist will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Marist beat King 53-43.

Meanwhile, Sidwell Friends was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 56-51 to Riverdale Baptist. While the Quakers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Crusaders 16-11 in the first quarter.

Marist will have to contain Ian Condon as he made an impact in Sidwell Friends' last game. He almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Jadah Washington, who posted four points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds.

Sidwell Friends' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marist, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
