Football Recap: Hallsville Comes Up Short on the Road Against Palmyra

Hallsville kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 48-14 defeat at the hands of the Palmyra Panthers. The Indians were down 42-8 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Although Hallsville took the loss, they still got scores from Abraham Rhoades and Landon Cunningham.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hallsville will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Centralia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palmyra, they will host Bowling Green at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
