East Forsyth entered their tilt with Parkland on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Irelynn Price was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, Tessa Troxler was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Aaliyah Long was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
East Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Parkland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
