Volleyball Recap: Hustisford Comes Up Short

Hustisford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parkview Vikings. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Despite the loss, Hustisford still got an impressive performance from Layla Thimm, who had 16 digs and three aces. Thimm is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydence Muche, who had 11 digs and two assists.

Hustisford's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Parkview, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Hustisford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lourdes on the 30th. As for Parkview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Gibraltar on the 30th.
