Basketball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Takes a Loss

Burns Sci-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-52 heartbreaker at the hands of the Halifax Academy Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since December 19, 2024.

Burns Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Halifax Academy, their record now sits at 12-7.

Burns Sci-Tech will square off against Warner Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Halifax Academy has already played their next match, a 62-29 win against Leesburg Christian Prep on the 30th.
