Volleyball Recap: Memphis Rise Academy Comes Up Short

Memphis Rise Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Memphis Rise Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Memphis Rise Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering, they will face off against Cordova at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
