Basketball Recap: String Theory Comes Up Short

String Theory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Academy at Palumbo Griffin 73-41. String Theory was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Academy at Palumbo apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Matthew Brown was nothing short of spectacular for Academy at Palumbo: he posted 25 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taj Medley, who had 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

String Theory's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Academy at Palumbo, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

String Theory will square off against George Washington at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Academy at Palumbo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-45 win against Sayre on the 11th.
