Softball Recap: Waskom Comes Up Short

Waskom lost against Harleton last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Waskom came up short against Harleton, falling 17-1. Waskom just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.

Waskom's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Harleton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-11.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Waskom Wildcats challenge Beckville Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waskom will need to watch out since Beckville has now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Harleton, they will be playing at home against Overton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Overton will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Harleton surely won't give up without a fight.
