Basketball Recap: Wortham Takes a Loss

Wortham lost against Mildred back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wortham Bulldogs had to suffer through a 56-12 loss at the hands of the Mildred Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wortham's record is now 1-10. As for Mildred, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Wortham will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Frost at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Mildred, they will be playing at home against Hubbard at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
