Herbert Hoover had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Capital Cougars on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-19.

Herbert Hoover's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lilli Lancaster led the charge by getting nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lancaster has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn Adkins, who had 13 digs and three aces.

Herbert Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 53-8-1. As for Capital, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-29-4.

As of now, neither Herbert Hoover nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
