Recap: Rich Rebels vs. Altamont Longhorns
The Rich Rebels posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They put the hurt on Altamont with a sharp 65-41 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-14.
Rich was led to victory by Jaden Desch and Carter Hoffman. Desch scored 14 points, while Hoffman scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hoffman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Muirbrook, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Rich has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Altamont, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rich won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wendover at 5:30 p.m. on January 20th. Wendover has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 553 points over their last eight games. As for Altamont, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Manila at 8:00 p.m. on January 25th.
