Baseball Recap: Lexington Takes a Loss

If Lexington was feeling good fresh off their 33-21 takedown of Parkland last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lexington Yellowjackets lost 18-1 to the East Davidson Golden Eagles on Friday. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for East Davidson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Davidson beat Lexington by a score of 18-2 later that day.
