Onteora has gone a perfect 5-0 against Rhinebeck recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Hawks at 4:15 p.m. Rhinebeck took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Onteora, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Onteora earned a 49-36 win over Ellenville. The Eagles pushed the score to 43-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Devils cut but never quite recovered from.

Onteora got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vivienne Lamb out in front who posted 15 points along with five assists and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Kothe, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Rhinebeck unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 53-41 to New Paltz on Tuesday. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Hawks who fell 35-32 when the teams previously met back in February of 2024.

Onteora took their win against Rhinebeck in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 44-21 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
