Basketball Game Preview: Lakeview Centennial Patriots vs. MacArthur Cardinals

The Lakeview Centennial Patriots will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the MacArthur Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Lakeview Centennial has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while MacArthur will arrive with three straight victories.

Lakeview Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Martin on Tuesday. The Patriots took a hard 75-59 fall against the Warriors.

While MacArthur didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-24), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Arlington with a sharp 64-40 win on Tuesday. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season.

Lakeview Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for MacArthur, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
