Shelbyville Central not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9th (when they won 15-0). They put the hurt on the Spring Hill Raiders with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Stephen Bobo was a major factor no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last 14 matchups.

In other batting news, Shelbyville Central got a big performance out of William Bobo, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases Bobo has posted over his last 11 contests. Another player making a difference was Reager Edwards, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Shelbyville Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spring Hill only posted an OBP of .043.

The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Spring Hill, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14.
