Milton-Union won the last time they faced Northridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Polar Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-18, 25-10.

Michaela Firks paced Milton-Union's offense, picking up 18 kills. Firks got some help from Marley Reed and her 17 assists. Raylin Combs controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Milton-Union's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.

Milton-Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Riverside on the 9th. As for Northridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lehman Catholic on the 9th.
