Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was South Hills who claimed the real prize. The Parrots came up short against the Scorpions, falling 15-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Parrots in their meetings with the Scorpions: they've now lost four in a row.

Polytechnic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hector Ruiz, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for South Hills, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Polytechnic will be playing at home against Trimble Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Hills, they will head out to take on Trinity Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
