Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Cougars vs. Central Christian Crusaders

Make it six blowout wins for the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars this season. They claimed a resounding 70-35 victory over Central Christian at home. The victory was nothing new for Creekside Christian Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leading Creekside Christian Academy to victory were Laila Placide and Skye Hunter. Placide scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five blocks, while Hunter scored 19 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Placide is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kyra Ware, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Creekside Christian Academy's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23 points. As for Central Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Creekside Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Central Christian on the road again on Saturday and play against Harvester Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Harvester Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 37 on January 5th.
