Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Wood Takes a Loss

Archbishop Wood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the La Salle College Explorers. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Explorers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Archbishop Wood's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for La Salle College, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Archbishop Wood will face off against rival Archbishop Ryan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, La Salle College is set to take on their familiar foe Roman Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
